Heyman Joins The Big League

SHELLHARBOUR product Michelle Heyman will start in the first W-League match when Sydney FC face Perth Glory at Members Equity Stadium tomorrow.
Heyman, 20, will take her place in the run-on side for the match, which will be telecast on ABC2 from 4pm. The Illawarra Stingrays product earned her spot after scoring both Sydney FC goals in a 2-2 draw against Ghana at Homebush on Monday. Ghana raced to a 2-0 lead early in the first half and preserved their lead until the break. However, Sydney FC hit back when Heyman headed home a cross from skipper and 100-game Matildas veteran Heather Garriock.
