ADAM Gilchrist signed off in style yesterday in his last international innings on his home ground, the WACA, in Perth.

The Australian vice-captain thrilled a capacity crowd by scoring a dashing century in the tri-series one-day international against Sri Lanka.

Gilchrist (pictured) celebrated his century by leaping high and punching the air as his loyal army of fans roared.

He went on to score 118 in Australia's total of 236.
